Functional and Decorative Hand Building
Mondays 6:30 – 9:00 pm
This exciting eight week hand building class offers students an opportunity to design and construct boxes, platters, and large vessels using hand building techniques. There is a strong emphasis on surface decoration using texture and colored slips, as well as glazing and firing. Beginning Potters Wheel
Tuesdays 6:30 – 9:00 pm
This eight week introductory class covers basic throwing and glazing techniques. Students learn how to make cups, bowls, and plates. They also learn how to alter thrown pieces and make and attach handles, and so much more! Class time includes informal discussions, demonstrations, and hands on instruction. Click below to book now!
Intermediate Potters Wheel
Wednesdays 6:30 – 9:00 pm
For students who have mastered the basics, this eight week class focuses on throwing bigger and taller pieces, adding handles and lids, altering thrown work and the use of colored slips and glazes to finish work.
